The 25 November International Meatless Day, Animal Rights Day, and SAK (Stop All Killing) campaigns were created by people who agreed with Sadhu Vaswani’s assertion that the universe was held together by golden chains at the feet of the One God, the All-Powerful Creator of all things. On this day, people are asked to abstain from eating anything that isn’t vegetarian in honour of this goal.
