Helen Keller persevered throughout life and achieved her goals despite being born blind and deaf. She distributed various books, turned into a productive writer, laid out the “American Starting point for the Visually impaired,” and upheld for individuals with inabilities.

 

People who are hard of hearing and visually impaired are now able to live full and productive lives as a result of advancements in science and technology. On Helen Keller Day, we reflect on the progress that has been made in assisting and assisting those who are disabled. It’s an update that everyone has potential and can contribute phenomenally to society.

 

The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), which is a component of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, serves as the nodal body for the country’s development agenda for people with disabilities. The department celebrated Helen Keller’s Day on June 27, 2023, by organizing a variety of events at more than 50 locations across India with the intention of highlighting Helen Keller’s accomplishments and inspiring stakeholders, particularly Divyangjans.

 

To honor Helen Keller’s Day on June 27, 2023, mindfulness raising projects, courses, studios, a general media program created by the Establishment’s people group radio broadcast 91.2 NIVH Hi Doon, online courses, games, and test contests were held all around the country.
