The most successful films in AP/TS: The mythological epic directed by Prabhas, Adipurush, has completed its theatrical run in most of India, with the exception of the Telugu states, where it is still generating some collections. Adipurush is Prabhas’s highest-grossing film outside of Baahubali. The movie has earned around Rs. 304 crores at the Indian box office so far, with another crore or two expected to be added in the coming days.

Even though Adipurush got off to a promising start on its first day, it received a poor reception from the audience, which led to a significant drop in performance. The Ramayana theme, which initially drew audiences, eventually led to a decline in interest, and the film suffered more significant setbacks in the Hindi belt. Despite generally having a higher degree of frontloaded audience turnout, Telugu states managed to have a better box office trend than the Hindi belt, which is not often seen.

Adipurush has made Rs in Telugu states. 128.50 crores so far after 19 days of release. This makes it Prabhas’s highest-grossing non-Baahubali franchise film, surpassing Saaho’s earnings, and the thirteenth highest-grossing film ever in the region. Rs. has been distributed by the film’s distributor. 71 crores, but that is not nearly enough to placate its distributor, who will lose more than Rs. fifty crores of their money.

The highest-grossing films at the AP/TS box office are as follows:
RRR: Rs. 393 crores
Baahubali – The Conclusion: Rs. 307 crores
Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo: Rs. 196 crores
Baahubali – The Beginning: Rs. 173 crores
Waltair Veeraya: Rs. 172 crores
Sarileru Neekevvaru: Rs. 161 crores
Rangasthalam: Rs. 157 crores
KGF Chapter 2: Rs. 156 crores
Syeraa Narasimha Reddy: Rs. 152 crores
Pushpa – The Rise: Rs. 150 crores
Sarkaru Vaari Paata: Rs. 143 crores
Maharishi: Rs. 130 crores
Adipurush: Rs. 128.50 crores (19 days)
Saaho: Rs. 125 crores
Bheemla Nayak: Rs. 121 crores

The following films earned the most money at the AP/TS box office:
RRR: Rs. Baahubali’s $393 million conclusion: Rs. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo: 307 crores Rs. 196 crores The Beginning of Baahubali: Rs. Waltair Veeraya: 173 crores Rs. Sarileru Neekevvaru: 172 crores Rs. Rangasthalam: 161 crores Rs. KGF Chapter 2: 157 crores Rs. Syeraa Narasimha Reddy: 156 crores Rs. 152 million dollars Pushpa – The Rise: Rs. Sarkaru Vaari Paata: 150 crores Rs. 143 billion Maharishi: Rs. 130 billion Adipurush: Rs. Saaho: 128.50 crores in 19 days: Rs. Bheemla Nayak: 125 crores Rs. 121 crores There are two SS Rajamouli films that have grossed a lot of money on the list of top grossers. After that, there is a huge gap between the other films, and there is no one in the 200s. Except for AVPL, the first Baahubali still stands out from the others after eight years. Pushpa would have been better than Baahubali among these films, but the circumstances surrounding its release in Andhra Pradesh prevented it from doing so. Even more troubling is the fact that ticket prices have skyrocketed since the first Baahubali, particularly in Telangana, where they have tripled, though Andhra Pradesh saw some of it reverse last year as a result of government regulations. The likes of Pushpa 2, Salaar, Project K, Devara, and Game Changer, among others, will be big releases in the next year. The goal is for most, if not all, of them to earn more than Rs. 200 crore level.
